Bows, Bows, & More Bows!

I ran across a video from Julie Dimatteo on how to create bows. I can’t express how unbelievably easy they are to make. My mother in-law is a bow junkie and I can’t wait to show her that she can create her own bows!!!

Here is what you need:
•8 – 1”x 6” strips of Designer Series Paper
•4 – 1” x 5” strips of Designer Series Paper
•1 – 1” x 4” strip of Designer Series Paper
•Crop-a-dile
•A large Brad (Our jumbo brads work great!)
•Snail

1)Line all 8 strips on top of each other and using the small hole punch on the crop-a-dile punch a hole at both ends
2)Repeat this step for the 1x5 strips
3)Create a circle with the 1x4 strip, adhere snail to keep it closed. And punch a hole in the middle of where you have glued it together.
4)Start with your largest pieces – Holding your brad with its “Legs” up, Put one end of the paper on the brad and roll the paper of so the same side of the paper is facing up.
5)Build your bow by placing all the strips on top of each other.
6)Put your circle in last and close your brad.
7)Voilà you’re done!!

Please let me know if you have any questions, I am happy to help. This project is so easy that you will never want to but another store bought bow again!

Happy Creating!!
