And the stockings were hung by the chimney with care!

We just wrapped up our monthly team meeting and this months swap theme was holidays. I couldn't wait to get started on this card! I cut so many bricks out (24 bricks on 7 different cards!) that my finger tips were brown for a few days :-)

How cute is this card?? Well now it's your turn to recreate it. Here is the supply list and instructions. I would love to see what you do with this on your own.

Directions:
Card Base
· Cut one piece of Early Espresso to 8 ½” x 4 ½ ”
· Using the Simply Scored Board Score at 4 ¼ ” and fold the card in half
Fireplace Base
· Cut on piece of Sahara Sand to 5” x 4”
Fireplace Mantle
· Cut one piece of Sahara Sand to ¾ ” x 5 ½ ”
· Cut one piece of Sahara Sand to ¾ ” x 5 ¼ ”

· Using a Stampin Sponge and Early Espresso ink, sponge all over both pieces of Sahara Sand to give it a wood look.
· Glue the two pieces together, longest piece on top.
· Use Snail adhesive to attach to the fireplace base. Only apply the snail to the top of the mantle. You will need space to add the bricks.

Fireplace Bricks
· Using the stocking cuff from the Stitched Stockings builder punch cut out approximately 25 pieces of Sahara Sand paper
· Cut 2 of the bricks in half. You will need smaller pieces to stagger the bricks.
· Use a Stampin Sponge and Early Espresso Ink and sponge the edges of the bricks
· Adhere the bricks to the fireplace base. I used 5 across.
Fireplace
· Cut one piece of Early Espresso to 1 ½ : x 2”
· Cut two pieces of Early Espresso to ¾ “ x 1 ½ “ for sides
· Cut one piece of Early Espresso to ¾ “ x 2”
· Using Tombow adhesive glue the two shorter pieces to each side and the larger piece across the top. This will give your fireplace depth.

Fireplace Flames
· Cut out three pieces of Daffodil Delight using the Bird Builder Punch
· Cut out three pieces of Pumpkin Pie using the Stitched Stockings Builder Punch
· Adhere the flames together like this:

· Attach to the fireplace

Stockings
· Using Whisper White stamp the stockings as follows:
o Daffodil Delight
o Real Red
o Bashful Blue
· Using Whisper White stamp the cuff, toe, and heel as follows:
o Daffodil Delight
o Old Olive
o Poppy Parade
· Put the stockings together using the Stiched Stocking’s builder punch and snail
· Attach to the fireplace mantle using a Mini Brad

Putting it all together:
· Adhere the fireplace to the base using Snail.
· Adhere the 4 x 5 piece of Whisper White to the inside of the card base
· Stamp Warmest Wishes

And that’s it! If you have any questions please email me!
